24 February 2020, Johannesburg: LaLiga, in partnership with Budweiser and SuperSport will be hosting a watch partyat the Hard Rock Cafe, Sandton on 1 March 2020 to give South African football fans a taste of the long-standing rivalry.
The battle between Madrid and Barcelona will see cities around the world come to a standstill, as friends will become foes and families split into half for 90 minutes. This season’s game, like the other games that have been fought since 1902, oozes football tension, citizenry conflict and outright emotions making it one of the most exciting matches of the season.
The FC Barcelona and Real Madrid match-up, El Clásico, is no doubt one of the most anticipated games of the LaLiga season. Uniting millions by a single passion for the game, El Clásico fosters a global fanbase as both sports teams compete for the ultimate bragging right.

The watch party will be open to people of all ages and includes various activities where fans will have the opportunity to walk away with LaLiga merchandise. In addition to these festivities, fans will also be able to rub shoulders with various celebrities in attendance as well as get photo-opportunities with MC and host, Maps Maponyane.
