Zack Bia’s takeover of 2023 begins today, as the multi-talented DJ, label executive and tastemaker releases his debut single, “Hardcore,” with multi-platinum rapper Don Toliver, out now via Field Trip Recordings/Geffen Records. Pulling from the same diverse set of influences that characterize his DJ sets, Zack’s production on the track is club-ready and provides the perfect palette for Don Toliver’s ethereal melodic delivery – a trademark of his which sets him apart as one of the foremost innovators in hip-hop. Cutting-edge collaborations like this are key to Zack Bia’s artistry: In addition to “Hardcore,” the talented DJ is readying many more tracks that will crisscross genres and push boundaries later this year. The vision extends to the single’s cover art too, designed by Japanese streetwear designer Verdy, the creative behind Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth.
