South African DJ and radio personality SUPTA joins forces with DJ Zinhle, Mörda (formerly of Black Motion), and vocalist Msongi for a powerful and spiritual 3-step anthem titled “Ngizothandaza,”.

Translating to “I will pray,” the song blends each artist’s unique musical identity SUPTA’s Afrotech roots, Zinhle’s polished, genre-blending finesse, Mörda’s Afro-house intensity, and Msongi’s emotive vocal delivery, into one deeply resonant track. Built around themes of faith, healing, and connection, “Ngizothandaza” invites listeners to reflect while still moving to its hypnotic groove.

“I’m so excited about this collab, it’s been a long time coming,” says SUPTA, who has been teasing the collaboration across social media. The track is already generating buzz for its uplifting message and seamless blend of soulful energy and spiritual depth.

ABOUT SUPTA

SUPTA is a South African radio host and DJ whose journey began in high school at Takalani FM, a community radio station in Aliwal North, Eastern Cape. His passion for storytelling through sound quickly led him to roles at Motheo FM and Kovsie FM in Bloemfontein, before joining Johannesburg’s leading youth station, YFM, where he currently hosts his own show and forms part of the celebrated YTKO DJ line-up.

As a DJ and music tastemaker, SUPTA gained national recognition in 2019 for his contribution to Prince Kaybee’s smash hit “Gugulethu,” which earned over 13 million YouTube views, won Best Collaboration at the Sound City Music Awards, and was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2020 Mzansi Music Awards.

He has since carved out his lane in Afrotech and Afro House, with standout releases like “Indoda Emadodeni” with Nkosazana Daughter, “Ntinga Ntanga” with Thalitha and Obie, and the Ntinga Ntanga EP. In 2023, he followed up with “Emathandweni”, a collaboration with Thalitha and DJ Jim MASTERSHINE, continuing to expand his sonic reach ahead of his next EP release.
