30 June 2023, Johannesburg – Singer/ Songwriter Nkosazana Daughter celebrates the release of her debut album and new gold plaque, with friends and media.
This past week, Dali Nguwe singer, Nkosazana Daughter re-introduced herself as, uThingo Le Nkosazana meaning daughter of the rainbow in isiZulu. uThingo Lenkosazana is a 13 track album which dissects love, pain, tradition and her roots.
On her first album, Nkosazana connects with her calling by showcasing her range and understanding of music, collaborating with producer power houses such as Lowsheen, Kabza De Small and Master KG to help narrate her beautiful story.
To celebrate the release of her album, Nkosazana Daughter hosted a listening session last night at the upmarket, Altitude Beach in Fourways. The event was attended by close friends of the star, media and her management team.
During this intimate setting, Nkosazana Daughter was presented with a gold plaque for her lead single, Ring Ring Ring taken from her debut album, uThingo Lenkosazana
The new album went live on the 23rd of June , and it features heavy names such as Kabza the Small, Makhadzi, DJ Maphorisa,Master KG ,Lowsheen ,Mashudu ,Young Jonn, Murumaba Pitch ,Sir Trill ,Major Leages DJ and more.
