May 23, 2025- Multiple Headies Award winning Rapper Ladipoe releases new single “Olufunmi (The Missing Recipe)” featuring iconic Nigerian boy band Styl Plus, the original creators of the song. The track was preceded by the melodic rap single “I No Be God”, on which Ladipoe makes his singing debut. The release of “Olufunmi (The Missing Recipe)” marks a crucial point in Ladipoe’s ongoing loverboy arc, as he reinvents and pays homage to one of Afrobeats most cherished love songs.
“Olufunmi (The Missing Recipe)” puts a modern spin on the beloved Nigerian classic, infusing rap verses with a perfect balance of romance and wit into a revamped version of the song’s original instrumental. The icing on the cake is the appearance of Styl Plus themselves on this resplendent reimagining of their 2000s hit, lending their timeless vocals to the evergreen track.
Also known as the Leader of the Revival, Ladipoe became Mavin’s first rap signee in 2017.
