Johannesburg, South Africa – Friday, 16 April 2021 – Today Khuli Chana drops his first single with Universal Music Africa, titled Buyile featuring Stino Le Thwenny, Lady Du and Tyler ICU.  

Do not consider this his musical comeback, but a return of the Khuli Chana will we all know and love. Buyile is the first single from the Motswako Originator since the release of his album, Planet of The Have Nots in 2019.

Titled in isiZulu, Buyile still affirms the vocal prowess of one of the standing icons of the hip hop sub-genre, Motswako, the release is powered by MYTHRONE in partnership with Universal Music Group Africa and sets the tone for what fans can expect from his record label.

Buyile asserts Khuli Chana’s ability to fit into different music pockets without losing his fans. The song fuses hip hop bars, kwaito-inspired instrumentations and Amapiano ad-libs making this single inclusive with the signature Chana-power flavour,

Khuli Chana is known to introduce us to new artists and on Buyile he continues this trend by letting Stino Le Thwenny and Lady Du dominate mainstream media with their presence on the song.

The song was produced by Unganzincishi producer, Tyler ICU and it features new kids in the block, Stino Le Thwenny and the new voice of Amapiano Lady Du.

This potential hip-hop smash hit has been making the rounds on the streets with popular hip hop DJs such as DJ Venom, always making an effort to include the song on his recent hip hop sets.
