Friday, 28 October, Johannesburg: Born Darlene Swarts, songstress and song writer, Dinky Kunene has released her much anticipated EP titled, House Of Makunene.
The Amanga and Hade headliner, announced on socials that she had been working on new music and has delivered it, in the form of an 8 track EP, showcasing her versatility and talent.
House of Makunene features songs such as DALI, a fan favourite that features new kids on the block, Springle and Pushkin, Mthunzi and Mzu M. DALIi was followed by the love song, uHamba Nobani featuring the talented Sino Msolo.
Most songs on the EP where curated and produced by her long-time collaborator and close friend, MDU A.K.A TRIP. Rising star and producer Yumbs makes an appearance on Iskhathi Sami.

She was born, in Ennerdale ( Johannesburg) . Dinky Kunene was on Idols SA for two cycles and made it into the Top 20 and Top 10 respectively.
Since her appearance on Idols Dinky Kunene, has gone on to create some timeless Amapiano hits, including her collaboration with Sgija pioneer, MDU aka TRP on songs such as Rest and Reason.
