Johannesburg, South Africa – Friday, 19 November 2021 – Da Muziqal Chef releases street hit Nguwe officially on DSPs.
Da Muziqal Chef began the year by giving fans an eight track EP, Muziqal Fiesta. Since the February release of the EP, the Amapiano tastemaker and leading producer in the house sub-genre has since been collaborating with notable Amapiano producers including Sam Deep, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza de Small. On most of the -projects, he was credited as a collaborator or feature.
However, Da Muziqal Chef is ready to take centre stage as he officially releases the hit street anthem, Nguwe, featuring Sino Msolo, De Mthuda and Malumanator. The mid-tempo, romantic Amapiano classic sees Sino Msolo deliver yet another ballad as he affirms the love he feels for his love interest. Nguwe has been part of many music lovers’ catalogue long before the official release, as it is regarded as one of the anthems of summer 2021.
Now Nguwe is officially available across all DSPs following confirmation from Da Muziqal Chef.
With ‘Nguwe’, Da Muziqal Chef worked with some of the best amapiano producer-DJs. Therefore, sonically the song is arranged to showcase the collaborations of said voices through a continued layering of instrumentations. Starting with the signature amapiano percussion. The then song builds with the infusion of synthesised keys and drums to deliver a disco-inspired amapiano arrangement.
Sino Msolo and MalumNator’s addition marks the last layer of the song’s arrangement. The soulful crooner begins by singing about a love ten years in the making. MalumNator, then adds that now that he has found his love interest, the criticism by naysayers will not dither him from staying with the love of his life.
