Soweto Marathon enters into a 3-year deal with Rand Water.
JOHANNESBURG, 5 July 2019
Soweto Marathon runners can be assured of full hydration during the 2019 edition and beyond, thanks to the partnership deal that was concluded this week with Rand Water. The Soweto Marathon Trust welcomed the Official Hydration Partner to The People’s Race;
“Initially it’ll be a three year deal with Rand Water supplying all our hydration requirements in this challenging race that is often run in temperatures in excess of 30 degree’s. We are absolutely delighted to have them on board and look forward to working with their competent marketing team as we host our first ever 40 000 field and thank Rand Water who will supply 1755 000 sachets of water.”

This annual event has become increasingly popular with both athletes and spectators, and is in line with one of our advocacy principles of promoting healthy lifestyles” says Rand Water spokesperson, Justice Mohale.
