Following the release of his music video for “ASKIES TA” with DJ Switch is Rapper, and Songwriter from Eastern Cape, Tae Africa as he returns with a brand new single titled “PHOLAY”. The rapper taps into a more personified world with his latest single as he addresses the pressures of the world which at times can be provoking but he chooses peace at all times.
“PHOLAY” is an easy listen single as Tae Africa rides the beat with a quite mellow and catchy hook whilst giving a strong story to his verse. The song is attached to a moment in Tae’s life as many people around him put pressure on him and this felt like an attack at the time as he was still building his career and trying to truly find himself. All he could really say back to himself is to relax hence the title and the hook.
“PHOLAY” is the beginning of a journey into Tae Africa’s new chapter and approach to music as he prepares to release a brand new project later in the year with this being just a slight taste to what fans and listeners can expect from him in the coming months.
