Monday 15 May 2023, South Africa – Rising Singer and Songwriter, Smilo Crystal is fast becoming a name to remember in the music and entertainment industry.
Her debut single ‘Heartbeat’ was released in 2021, with a follow-up single titled ‘Total Stranger’ which has since been a commercial success.
Awunak’thula is Smilo’s latest single and has been making waves with its catchy beats and meaningful lyrics.
The Mpumalanga-born artist who began honing her craft at the tender age of 12 not only maximizes her skills in music but is also talented in Dance and Poetry.
Already known for her versatility and honest messages she delivers in her lyrics, Smilo is on a mission to take on the mainstream music scene.
“I got into music because of the love I have for it, it makes me happy. I love entertaining people and creating something that they can relate to. Music should cater to everyone for enjoyment and entertainment, ” says Smilo Crystal.
Notably, Smilo has proudly founded and established her own independent record label, Crystal Music World and has shared stages with some major, well-known South African musicians. She continues to make a mark in the industry.
