Shazam today launched its new playlist Mzansi Risers on Apple Music, featuring the songs heating up Shazam in South Africa right now—the latest releases from the most talked-about artists and the music that’s been lighting up scenes from your favourite movies and TV shows 
 

Mzansi Risers compiles songs by South Africa’s fast-emerging new artists trending across theShazam Charts. It offers a select mix of sounds that show what music aficionados have been actively discovering on Shazam, and reflect the energy and boundless spirit of Mzansi, from amapiano and hip-hop through to afro-house and pop.

The playlist includes the likes of breakthrough amapiano producers De Mthuda and and Mas Musiq, Sun-El Musician’s latest signing Azana, Stay True Sounds’ Jazzuelle, pop newcomer Josh Middleton as well as afro-house production duo Lemon & Herb’s latest single with Ami Faku.
