Dear Daisies Family,
Today is once again a sad day for not only the Daisies team, but also for all of our incredible supporters, stakeholders, crew and industry, as we announce that this year’s Rocking the Daisies is not able to take place as we take on the second forced fallow year for both our Cape Town and Johannesburg shows.
From the time we announced the 15th Year Anniversary postponement last year, up until this very point, our team has worked tirelessly behind the scenes alongside all the relevant officials, and stakeholders, in order to do everything in our power to make this year’s event viable. However, with the latest announcement of increased, stricter regulations, as well as the ongoing uncertainty of the months to come in South Africa, it has become clear that an event of our size in 2021 is not an option, and most importantly is not safe for our most important stakeholders – you, our loyal fans and supporters.
To all existing ticket holders who retained tickets when they could have taken a refund during our 2020 window – your support means more to us than you will ever know. By the time we post this, you would have received official email communication regarding your options for refunds and rollovers. Once again, we encourage and hope that you will consider rolling over your ticket to 2022. In doing so, you will be supporting our team, as well as the many industry role-players we work with, including numerous local Artists with much needed deposits along the way.
Our team has worked on an extensive FAQ which can be found on our website – as well as on our Instagram Highlights – which we hope will answer any and all questions you may have. If, however, you do not find what you are looking for there, please feel free to reach out to us on email@example.com or pop us a DM.
Until 2022 – stay safe, keep supporting our incredible industry where you can, and remember that we will be together again, bigger and better than ever.
The Daisies Team
