Johannesburg, South Africa – Friday, 5 November 2021 – Prince Kaybee releases the Robin M remix of his immediate hit single “Umenitosha” from his latest album The 4th Republic.
“Umenitosha”, the single following the release of the 24-track album which was released in March 2021. “Umenitosha” has traveled beyond South Africa and showed itself as a fan favorite within the UK market. With that in mind, Prince Kaybee tapped Robin M to put his signature touch on the song. The remix shifts deep house and electro-influenced tones firmly into the house sub-genre, afro-tech. Discarding the strings, the single is re-interpreted with atmospheric elements meant to build on each other, while sometimes overlapping and producing a mental kaleidoscope of sonics. Staying true to the song, you immediately identify the soothing vocals from Kenyan vocalist, Polaris.
Overall, Prince Kaybee is one of the hardest working artists this year, releasing a 24-track album containing radio-charting singles “Hosh” featuring Sir Trill, “Ayabulela” and “Insurance” featuring King Monada. The album also has street hit singles like “Menateng” featuring Aymos and Black Motion.

Senekal, Free State born DJ and Producer Kabelo Motsamai, popularly known as Prince Kaybee, is a dance/electronic musician who cut his teeth on the streets and dancefloors in the City of Roses, Bloemfontein. Drawing on a range of sounds from afro-tech to vocal house, he has become a mainstay in the South African music industry. Influenced by the classically smooth Chicago house scenes, Prince Kaybee got his big break in 2015 after winning the South African Broadcasting Corporation’s music reality show 1’s and 2’s.
