PRESIDENT YA STRAATA, FOCALISTIC, SELLS OUT HIS FIRST EVER ONE MAN SHOW

Tuesday, 19 September 2023 Johannesburg: Earlier this year, the president of the streets, Focalistic announced that he would be hosting his first ever one man show in partnership with his record label, 18 Area Holdings.

To celebrate his fan’s undying support over the years and his place of birth, Pretoria the Ke Star hitmaker hosted over 15 000 people at the famous, Pretoria Botanical Gardens to a spectacle titled National Street Address this past Saturday, the 16th of September .Doors opened at 10am and by 13:00 bus shuttles filled with university students from all over Gauteng and their cooler boxes arrived to experience the unforgettable.

The line-up was packed with artists that live beyond amapiano, including hip hop, afro tech with a special barcadi performance from Pretoria’s finest, Jellybabie. Each act had 20 minutes to showcase their talent and the likes of Morda, Blxckie, Pabi Cooper Mellow and Sleazy as well as TYLER ICU took the top, whilst fans waited for the last act of the night which was Focalistic.

Focalistic’s set was an hour long and included a gospel choir, a performance with Sjava for their prayer  Dipuo, a single taken from Ghetto Gospel. And love from his group members, PSL ( Pretoria Super League). PSL is composed of Focalisitc, MJ, Ch’cco and Pabi Cooper.

Named the president of the streets by, DJ Maphorisa an excited Focalistic took to Instagram to express his gratitude to the fans who made the event and to all the artists and sponsors who made his dreams possible.
