While we all #StayAtHome and try to #StaySafe until we can gather again in the scenic Malkerns Valley of Eswatini for the MTN Bushfire festival, you’ll be thrilled to know that we can still gather in spirit!
Join us on May 30, 2020 – our traditional festival weekend – as we keep the magic of unity alive with an all-new, exciting interactive digital broadcast, the #KeepTheFireBurning Live Experience.
We’ve partnered with Howler to bring you this free immersive two-way virtual experience. A first of its kind for an online festival, we’ll be recreating the unique atmosphere of the MTN Bushfire festival that keeps you coming back year after year.
This digital broadcast is in support of our festival beneficiaries’ COVID-19 relief programmes. We ask you to #ShareYourFire by donating to Young Heroes and boMake Rural Projects. Your donations will assist them in assembling and distributing Emergency Homecare Kits for orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as rural women in Eswatini.
Emergency Homecare Kits consist of food, face masks, hygiene products and medical supplies. These kits will enable families with little to no income to maintain their basic needs and meet stipulated national and international health and safety standards, to resist the effects of Covid-19.
