ohannesburg, 19 June – Paramount, Africa’s leading entertainment brand, is proud to announce the addition of four talented individuals to its esteemed Culture Squad line-up. As part of Paramount’s commitment to opening up the industry for youth and providing them with a platform to shine, the new members will join the existing Culture Squad champions across various Paramount brands.

Youth month in South Africa holds a special place in Paramount’s heart, as it celebrates the vibrancy, creativity, and potential of young talent. With this in mind, Paramount is thrilled to introduce the following Culture Squad members who will undoubtedly bring fresh flavour and innovation to BET, MTV Base and Nickelodeon.

  • Candice Modiselle for BET: As a passionate advocate for youth empowerment, Candice Modiselle is an influential figure who will represent BET with her exceptional talent and insight. Her unique voice and dedication to uplifting the youth will undoubtedly contribute to BET’s mission of promoting black culture and entertainment.
  • Teboho “Caddy” Tsotetsi for MTV Base: Teboho Tsotetsi, better known as “Caddy,” is a rising star in the South African entertainment industry. With his infectious energy and unparalleled enthusiasm, Caddy will light up the screen on MTV Base South Africa, captivating audiences with his magnetic presence.
  • Craig Nobela for Nickelodeon: Craig Nobela brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the Nickelodeon family. His playful spirit and knack for connecting with younger audiences will undoubtedly make him a beloved figure on the channel. Craig’s talents align perfectly with Nickelodeon’s commitment to providing entertaining and educational content for kids.
