As he celebrates his Birthday, he gifts the public with the first music video from the album, for the lead single iYona which features legendary DJ Tira and Sanie Boi. The multi-talented shows of his dancing skills on the visuals and the Drip is on Fleek. The video showcases Okmalumkoolkat touring in and around his own city, Durban. Mr Mlazi Milano takes you from the township neighbourhoods all the way to some tourist attraction areas in the music video.
‘iYona’ is an up-tempo dance song that grabs your attention within the first few seconds, it portrays OkMalumKoolKat’s genius of being able to seamlessly fuse dance with rap music. The track features the ‘godfather’ of Gqom, DJ Tira alongside SanieBoi and it is produced by renowned South African producer and bass guitarist, Prince Bulo.
