Johannesburg: Friday, 4 November 2022: TV personality, fashion designer and rapper, Ney the Bae returns to the scene with a new single.

Last year, Anele Zondo aka Ney announced that she will be following her passion for music and released her first ever single, Ingwe.

Ingwe has gone on to be a fan favourite but most importantly has helped Ney solidify her position as the next big thing, in local female rap.

To showcase her skills and growth, Ney has released a follow up single, featuring award winning rapper, Nadia Nakai titled, SlimThick produced by Playground.

Both rappers, took to social media to campaign for the single and the reception from fans has been positive. The song also enjoyed its first on air play on YFM yesterday courtesy of Venom

About Thick & Slim

Ney and Nadia Nakai team up on their new collab single SlimThick to represent both Slim and Thick women simultaneously.

The term Slim Thick is widely used to describe most women’s body goals, a flat stomach and small waist with a disproportionately large bum and thighs. Ney represents the Slim girls in this song while Nadia represents the thick girls.

Both artists plead their case in back-to-back verses representing their claiming one is better than the other.

This is a hot hip-hop song for the summer, as it represents all the ladies of all sizes looking to work what their momma gave them.
