One of South Africa’s best young talents returns – talented Cape Town rapper KANYI MAVI features on UMSINDO, the second single from Saturday, Monday‘s debut album – ‘Irises’.

Umsindo is a collaboration with Saturday, Monday; the solo project of London based Swedish DJ and producer Ludvig Parment.

Umsindo means wrath in Xhosa. Kanyi Mavi tells a story of a woman, trapped in an abusive relationship who one day finally snaps and decides to retaliate. Umsindo was released on all streaming platforms on Valentine’s Day, the official South African radio date is tomorrow. Kanyi will be in studio TODAY on Afternoon Express on SABC 3 from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM to promote her new release.
