Johannesburg, South Africa – Thursday, 25 February 2021 – Mthandazo Gatya celebrates upcoming EP, uMonde with new visuals and platinum plaque presentation at Universal Music, SA..
When Mthandazo Gatya found out his debut single, Senzeni featuring DJ Manzo SA and Comado had reached platinum; the musician first thanked his fans and promised to continue making them proud by releasing more hits.
True to his word, Mthandazo released the music video to his follow-up single, Senzeni with the release of the Abafana music video, featuring DJ Manzo SA, Comado and Aflat.
In continuing his relationship with Jozi Entertainment, the two entities continue to tell the story of living in the township. The Abafana music video is a story of love found, lost and then found again.
In the sobering story of a hawker finding what he believes is love, only to lose it to a man with bigger pockets. The music video retells a story known only to well in the townships. However, the music video still manages to celebrate and honor men that do whatever they can to make ends meet.
