Johannesburg, South Africa – Friday, 14 May 2021, Mjokes returns to music with Phanse Nge Ndlondlo.

Talented musician, Mjokes has released his new single Phanse Nge Ndlondlo. In a world where the dominant sound is Amapiano, the musical veteran has given fans what they want from him, a hit single which fuses Kwaito and Afro pop.

Ahead of the release of the single, Kalawa Jazzmee put it to fans that the single marks a resurgence to kwaito which is wrongly believed to have died.

Mjoke’s Phanse Nge Ndlondlo affirms that kwaito is not dead. On the contrary it lives, even in sub-genres like the dominant Amapiano.

The single marks his debut single of the year. Mjokes has made it a tradition to release at one single a year. Last year the musician gave us the single, Dikatareng which was celebrated across local radio
