House of Vans returns with Little Simz headlining the three-day event stacked with SA’s finest musicians, art exhibitions, retail partnerships, skateboarding activations, and more.

(Johannesburg, 28 October 2024) — It’s official: House of Vans Johannesburg just went next level. British-Nigerian artist and Vans brand ambassador for the Always Pushing campaign, Little Simz, will headline the event this November, bringing her raw sound and unstoppable energy to the House of Vans stage.

From 1 to 3 November 2024, expect three days of music, art, skateboarding, and endless moments that celebrate the best of local and global skate culture. Here’s what you can look forward to:

A Stacked Artist Line-Up

House of Vans is known for bringing together the best of global and local talent, and this year’s lineup is no different. Alongside Little Simz, Vans has some of South Africa’s most exciting artists taking the stage, including Muzi, Internet Girl, K.Keed, Marcus Harvey, lordkez, and Ebumnandini.

Retail & Art Experiences

Add some new pieces to your wardrobe from the Vans pop-up store, featuring a host of retail partners, including Milk Eyewear, Broke, Bantu Records, Franasonic, Studio Bananaaa, Shelflife, Sealand Gear, and Baseline Skate Shop.

You can also immerse yourself in the creative side of Joburg with art exhibitions from local talents like Crispy Skateboards, David Shiffman, Grant McLachlan, Chenai Gwandure, Melissa Williams, Tkay Modise, and Kyle Kheswa. Their work brings the essence of skateboarding and street culture to life throughout the weekend, and gives you a chance to connect with the artists shaping the scene.

In addition, Vans will be hosting art and skateboard-building workshops, so you can showcase your creativity and leave with a custom deck.

Of course, it wouldn’t be House of Vans without skateboarding. The Vans skate team will be putting on demos, and the park will be open to the public during select times for you to skate.
