Maintaining the memory of hip-hop’s greatest supervillain, Rhymesayers Entertainment and the MF DOOM estate present a brand new collection of DOOM apparel. The new drop will go live on Monday October 31, 2022 in honor of the second anniversary of his passing. The complete apparel line will be available at gasdrawls.com.
The apparel drop includes (but not limited to) custom rugby polo shirts, hats, and hoodies, along with skate decks, grip tape, stickers, and even a DOOM mask chrome pin. Check out select product shots HERE. The entire collection will be unveiled on Monday October 31.
This notably marks the first DOOM apparel collection since his transition in 2020.
MF DOOM’s shadow looms over the culture at large. Variety christened him “one of the most celebrated, unpredictable and enigmatic figures in independent hip-hop,” and The New Yorker attested, “He was an artist who took experiences that might have turned someone else cynical and cold and channeled them into a persona that retained a kind of wondrous spark.” Among various disciples, Tyler, The Creator, El-P, Flying Lotus, Q-Tip, and more publicly shared well wishes. Meanwhile, he has generated over 1 billion streams across classics such as Operation: Doomsday, MM…FOOD, and, of course, Madvillainy—the iconic collaboration with producer Madlib. NME touted the latter as one of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time,” and Rolling Stone named it as not only one of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time,” but also in the Top 20 of “The 200 Greatest Hip-Hop Albums of All Time.”
