Johannesburg, South Africa – Wednesday, 26 January 2022 – KASI HERO, DJ STOKIE RELEASES SOKE S’BONE MUSIC VIDEO.
DJ Stokie ended last year on a high. He bagged the first ever Best Private School Act trophy at the debut of the SAAPAs. The accolade coming off the back of Soweto’s Superman receiving his flowers for being a pioneer in Amapiano with the release of the documentary. iPiano e’Soweto which is available to view on YouTube.
To support the documentary, DJ Stokie released the supporting visuals to iPiano e’Soweto, which currently sits with over 1.8 million views since the release. He would go on to thank his fans for the successful year, DJ Stokie released his four-track EP, Soke S’bone. At the time of release stating that,, “I’m so blessed and I thank God everyday for the blessings in my life.”
Starting off the year on a high, the Amainternational hitmaker supports his EP release with the release of the title track, with Loxion Deep Soke S’bone music video. Reuniting with leading music video creator with an eye for a good storyline, Nigel Stockl. Together they enlisted featured vocalists, Sir Trill, Marumba Pitch and Nokwazi Vilakazi to expand the world introduced in the iPiano e’Soweto music video.
In the music video, DJ Stokie reprises his role as the leader of Amapiano gang ensuring the sound infiltrates the world. Only this time, he reveals more of his minions in the form of Deep, Trill, Pitch and Vilakazi, and he is on the run. The visuals are a psychological thriller as the looming question is, “Why is DJ Stokie a fugitive?“
