28 April 2023 Johannesburg, South Africa: Soulful and Deep house music saviours, Artwork Sounds deliver the much anticipated, part two of their chart-topping new album, The Gospel According to Artwork Sounds Chapter II.
Comprised of the popular Mafikizolo, bass guitarist George Lesley and producer/ DJ Soultronixx. Artwork sounds is a duo that rose to prominence after the release of their first studio album as a group, Nothing Better featuring artists such as Oscar Mbo and June Jazzin.
The pair struck gold in 2022 after the release of their gospel inspired album, The Gospel According to Artwork Sounds, home of the gold selling single Woza Moya ft Coco SA and Russel Zuma.
Following the release and success of their 2nd studio album the pair went into studio, with Amapiano heavyweight, Kabza De Small and contributed to his KOA album, on the banger, Bathini featuring Young Stunna.
The latter garnished their production reputation and gained them popularity in the current climate of local music and opportunities to work on successful Amapiano projects such as Deeper Phil’s Bambelela and Russel Zuma’s Next Level.
The duo wrapped up their successful year with the release of their #1 chart topping EP, Back 2 Basics lead by their broken beat remake of the popular 90’s single, Do For Love.
Continuing on their journey to convert us into believers, Artwork Sounds has delivered a full body of work, dedicated to the most high.
The pre-order of the new album went live on the 6th of April 2023, with songs such as Awesome God with Kabza De Small and the current radio favourite, Njalo with Murumba Pitch as instant gratifications.

ABOUT THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO ARTWORK SOUNDS CHAPTER II
The Gospel According to Artwork Sounds Chapter II continues to echo the soothing soulful sounds with the spiritually filled gospel samples. However, on this chapter, The Bishops experiment with new sounds borrowing the expertise of their brothers and sisters in Music.
With two parts, this album is apportioned into Disc One (Side A) where you will find the classic, soulful Artwork Sounds signature you have come to know and love and Disc Two (Side B) is the more experimental sounds that touch on the afrotech, broken beat, with a fresh twist of the amapiano bassline “the log drum” while still staying true to deep and soulful DNA.
