producer and singer makes a return with a wavy new single.
Gaffi opens the year with a new single from the vault. With “Inkhredebul” Gaff uses a
lot of word play in more fun and energetic manner to portray his incredibility on the
mic. The single serves as a way pf paving the way for his upcoming project in mid/pare
2024. He is currently working on two projects concurrently set to be released in 2024,
respectively “Mrs Machasa “ Cha$a Willy “.

About Gaffi
Born and bred in Portt Elizabeth now known as Gqeberha, Gaffi broke into the
Xhosa rap scene in 2021 through a viral topless video of him rapping. Also known
“Machasa”, name he acquired on his childhood as a mockery from friends due to his
body size and resemblance to a famous taxi driver who was known as “Machasa”
back. He embraced the name and turned into a brand upon growing up. Gaffi moved
to Cape Town where the Xhosa rap scene was thriving prominently and built
relationships with peers.
Gaffi debuted “Machasa Galore” which gained traction with hits such “Hambothengi
drink”, “Sthembe Wena” and more.. Since then Gaffi have been mostly appearing on
prominent features from peers such as BhutLegend , Makaziwe and Tae Africa on
hit song like “Sthembe wena”, “slatts” & “Askie Ta”.
Gaffi offers wide dynamics in his music from happy, sad, soulful and jump but mostly
amazing. He went on to release a second EP in late 2023 and received amazing
reception from the public and his audience, that had guests from-his hometown
namely Saantsi, Leo Brenin etc. Most recently Gaffi have had the streets talking,
implying that he is the next up the chain to tap into commercial market with Xhosa
rap. He is currently working on two projects concurrently set to be released in 2024,
