About Will You Be Mine:
Starting off sonically in the style of signature amapiano with the percussion and long drum. The introduction of the saxophone after the first break marks the actual beginning of the song. Thereafter, the song’s deep house inspired arrangement is made clear. Moreover, the solos from the saxophone become a motif which is used continuously throughout.
Vocally, the musicians deliver a soulful rendition with layered harmonies and atmospheric singing which is arranged through a call and response treatment. Lyrically, the single speaks to the moment of tension between two people who are attracted to each other.
