EXCITING ENTERTAINMENT LINE-UP CONFIMED FOR THE WEEKEND
Waterfall, Johannesburg – With less than 3 weeks to go to the first MmohoBlock Market, organisers today confirmed what to expect over the fun-filled two day experience.
Set to take place at the stunning urban setting of The Waterfall Park in the Mall of Africa on Saturday, 30th April and Sunday 1st May, this carefully curated market experience will have something on offer for everyone.
The weekend line-up features a long list of local music greats including:
- Renowned local music outfit The Soil
- Contemporary Isicathamiya acapella group Thee Legacy
- Acclaimed Nigerian Afrobeat artist Femi Koya
- Mzansi’s own Lungelo Moyo
- World music cover band Ice n Fire
Top JHB’s dance crew, The Artistic Intelligence (A.I) Dance Crew, will also feature on the entertainment roster, and have several surprises planned for the young, and young at heart at The MmohoBlock Market.
This 100% family-friendly affair will also cater for the little ones with various Kids Activities to keep them entertained. From tie-dye art and sand art to several kiddie rides and so much more.

Thee Legacy is a distinctly SA contemporary Isicathamiya acappella group. They rose to stardom as a result of winning the inaugural Sing Off South Africa 2015 a cappella music competition, which aired on SABC 1 and earned them a recording deal with Sony Music EntertainmentAfrica.

Ice n Fire
Ice ‘n Fire is an extremely versatile Corporate cover band with international singers and musicians performing songs for almost all cultures and tastes! The Soil
The Soil is a renowned SA a cappella group from Soweto founded in 2003, consisting of the lead singer Ntsika Ngxanga, beatboxer Luphindo, and vocalist Buhlebendalo Mda. The band eponymous debut LP The Soil, which became certified platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa.
