Real name Mandisa Radebe, or more popularly known as DBG Gogo has been a household name since 2018. She proved that the lockdown was an opportunity, becoming one of the most booked DJs with a co-sign from Era’s DJ Zinhle. She released her smash hit joint EP, Thokoza Cafe in 2020, became the first Amapiano Balcony Mix to hit a million views and affirmed her superstar status with the release of her classic Possible.
Continuing with breaking records and paving new paths, the Khuza GOGO hitmaker joins the established names of legends to partner up with UMG Africa. In what marks a first, the leading Amapiano female DJ-producer teams up with UMG Africa to launch her record label, Zikode Records.
The Yonke into iba’possible GLAMOUR cover star, celebrated the achievement with what was meant to be a low-key event at the popular Soweto based epicenter of status, KONKA. Collaborating with the local culture forward hotspot, she hosted The Landlord, De Mthuda and Motswako Originator, Khuli.
She would then be surprised by friends, Abidoza, Nobantu Vilakazi, Pabi Cooper and special friend Focalistic on this memorable night. [ Click here to view images from launch]
