Mpumalanga’s born & raised superstar Khanyisa Jaceni has followed up her debut EP, Soft with a new EP titled, Halfway. On her new project Khanyisa takes us through the journey of her life experiences with sing-along lyrics & that hard, iconic Amapiano log-drum we all love.
To help create an elevated experience for her fans, Khanyisa appointed vocal collaborations from the genre’s pioneers Lady Du, Sir Trill & Sino Msolo. Whilst the likes of Kabza Da Small, De Muziqal Chef and her right hand man, Marcus MC produced some of the most iconic singles to compliment the EP’s all-round emotional feel (love, heart break & happiness)
Looking at how amazing Khanyisa’s previous releases have been received by the public and fans, Halfway is
one not to be missed. Speaking to MTV’s Newsish this past Wednesday, Khanyisa expressed the following ” The EP is called Halfway cause ndiya feel(isha) that I am half way to where my creator wants me to be and also I can’t give up on my dreams or the people who believe in me and my craft”
