Johannesburg – 19 October 2020: Imagine taking a journey through Cape Town’s most iconic architectural landmarks and locations. And now weave in the most entertaining and mind-bending BMX tricks with one of South Africa’s most innovative riders and Red Bull Athlete, Murray Loubser. What you have now, is the scene set for Red Bull’s latest content piece, SHAPES (in the City).
Airing Saturday 24 October 2020 on SABC 1, this is definitely one not to be missed.
Loubser who started riding BMX in Gansbaai, learned to build ramps on his own and soon developed the effortless riding style he has become known for. He has competed in local and international events including Simple Session in Estonia.
“Shapes in the City is a project that I was able to work on with my friends,” remarks Loubser. “We visited a number of locations around the City of Cape Town, worked together to figure out the tricks we thought could work capture it in a very certain way that brought our vision to life. I’m really stoked to share the final results soon.”
