Hitmaking producer, Mörda recently celebrated his daughter, Asante’s 2nd birthday with the release of his new chart topping single, Burning Bush alongside legendary maskanda artist, Ihashi Elimhlophe.
Burning Bush which is heavily influenced by the new carved, dance sub-genre 3step wave,  a music concussion that gave birth to the star’s previous hit single, Mohigan Sun alongside, Oscar MBO and Murumba Pitch
“The name of my new single is titled, Burning Bush and is a sound continuation of what my fans and family got to experience on Asante. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am obsessed with taking people on a journey when listening to my music and on this new album they should expect that and more” expressed an excited Mörda
Burning Bush which is slowly becoming SA’s favourite summer jam, was built by the star during his current DJ sets, using his unmatched dance skills to help music fans, feel the music with no pain. Fans of the star recently witnessed the power behind Asante II at this year’s DSTV Delicious Fest, were Mörda blew fans away on a trip down memory lane and music from his upcoming album.
Mörda’s new album, Asante II, hit the shelves at midnight and hosts a star studded cast including, iHashi Elimhlophe, Thakzin, Brenden Praise, DJ Zinhle, Mhaw Keys and long-time collaborator and friend, Dr Moruti.
Songs fans should look out for are Only God, a prayer created by the Kalawa Jazzme alumni, DJ Zinhle, Dr Muruti and Mörda, Streets with Brendan Praise and Shuba, which is led by current go to vocalist and producers Murumba Pitch.

“Like I said, sonically my upcoming album is continuation of the hard work we put in when we created Asante, I worked with people who contributed on the previous album such as Brenden Praise and Thakzin. But will also be introducing fans to their favourite artist in a light they have never seen them before” Mörda said.
