Following the success of her debut single ‘Hamba Juba’, Lady Amar returns with her 2nd single of the year titled ‘Emuva’ with Starr Healer featuring Murumba Pitch and T-Man SA. This follows her joining the Ingrooves Africa family as a signee to her own label ‘Amar Million Empire’ officially marking her as an independent artist.
The award-winning DJ expresses her gratitude towards her journey in life as things have not been easy for her and the rest of team. ABOUT LADY AMAR
Lady Amar is a South African award-winning DJ and entrepreneur, born in Soweto and raised in Orange Farm. Her passion and hard work earned her two awards, one for being the best female DJ at the ASEA Awards in 2022 and scored the second one at the Emerge Africa Awards in the category of women in Business in 2023 as well as DJ of the year at this year’s Basadi in Music Awards.
February 17, 2023, Lady Amar released a song titled ‘Hamba Juba’ in which she shared efforts with Jackson Motla (JL SA), award-winning musician Cici (Busisiwe Thwala), as well as Emmanuel Mathye and Khathutshelo Mangolo known as Murumba Pitch. ‘Hamba Juba’ took South Africa by storm, as it topped the charts from day one.
