HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER BRAND INFLUENCER
(Johannesburg, 24 July 2019) Media darling Kim Jayde is soaring on cloud 9 as she receives esteemed recognition from Forbes Africa securing a coveted spot on their 30 Under 30 list for 2019.
Over the last year the award winning MTV Base Presenter, Model and influencer has expanded her brand partnerships to include working on campaigns with Revlon, Budweiser, Coca Cola, Samsung, Ackerman, Bernini, and SA Tourism to name just a few. She is highly sought after for her bubbly personality, on screen saavyness and an overall ability to authentically connect with her fans.
“I am so honored to be recognized by Forbes Africa as one of the top 30 Under 30 creatives on the continent. I’m from a small town, Bulawayo Zimbabwe, and it proves so much to my family, friends and critics. I’m humbled to be included on the list with so many of my peers and colleagues,” stated Kim.
Kim recently traveled to the United States to attend the 2019 Essence Festival which is the largest African American cultural festival in North America. She attended Essence Fashion House where she was able to engage in conversation with renown super models Iman and Joan Smalls.
“Being able to hear the stories of one of the original ground breaking supermodels – Iman, and Joan Smalls who inspires me was surreal. Both women forged ahead in their careers battling racism and clearing a path for young models like me. I was able to share a bit of my story with them and it was a moment I’ll never forget,” Kim explained.
Kim, who is also an ambassador for the Special Olympics, strives to be a positive role model for young girls giving them the confidence and motivation to be their best selves. She is on top of her game and we can’t wait to see what is next.
