“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with this year’s Arnold Classic Africa by way of a run through the Sandton streets and we absolutely welcome everyone to join us in a celebration of life! This event is another way in which we can help citizens be involved in regular exercise and help them to lead a heathy lifestyle which has numerous benefits to reducing various health issues. Entries are now open, we welcome everyone to come and run: let’s fill up the streets,” says the MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation Faith Mazibuko.
Wayne Price of Gentle Giant Promotions says that the Arnold Classic Africa will benefit from this great initiative;
“We welcome the news of this run on the eve of our three day festival and promise that we’ll meet all entrants at the start line come 16 May. The Gauteng Provincial Government is to be commended on their efforts of highlighting the importance of exercise, which is why we did not hesitate to join forces for this race.”
