2019 Soweto Marathon in association with Old Mutual: Entries half way sold out
LACE UP. CONQUER YOUR HARD.
JOHANNESBURG, 28 MAY 2019
Having officially opened their entries on 1 May 2019, the 26th Soweto Marathon is fast approaching the half way sold out target – in less than 1 month.
Soweto Marathon Chairman, Sello Khunou, says that the over-subscribed race is well on track to reach their increased entry capacity of 40 000 runners;
“Sunday 3 November 2019 is looking as promising as ever for our People’s Race to take to the Soweto streets, so we’re urging eager athlete’s to enter soon before entries close on 31 July if not sold out beforehand. We continue to work around the clock to strengthen the race offering to our runners, ensuring that as always they come back year on year to enjoy the eight heritage sites on route, the warm Soweto hospitality as well as the iconic start and finish venue the FNB Stadium.”
